It's been too long...
Wow it's been forever since I've posted! I have really missed it. It's sort of theraputic. I don't have facebook so I don't get to express myself very often on the WWW. At least this way there aren't a million people reading...at least I hope not. Well there is no way to possibly catch up since last December and believe me I'm not interesting enough to make it worth your while. ha! Here goes...
Christmas came and went...
Auburn won a National Championship!!! War Eagle...
We stayed at our first Ritz Carlton...
TJ had knee surgery...
I turned 29...
TJ and I met Randy Owen from the band Alabama!...
Spent a lot of time at the lake...
Got a new couch...
Took a few beach trips...
Lost someone we loved but never got to know...
Went Kayaking...
We both served on Jury Duty...
Went to the PGA Championship in Atlanta...
Lost my first Grandmother...
Installed a door in our den that goes into our new fenced in back yard...
And here we are. I told you it wasn't much but as you can see there were some very difficult times. Every new year I pray that the upcoming year will be a great one but after my accident in 2010 and now the death of my Grandmother in 2011 I sure hope God has a great 2012 in store for TJ and I. I know, I know... one event can't ruin the whole year.
Well I'm going to try to do better with posting. I wonder if I can post from my iPhone??? If so I could almost guarantee a post daily!! I should have added that in my update because the iPhone has totally changed my life! Sad I know but I'm addicited.

Christmas...Wait!!!!!
I feel like Christmas is flying by this year. Our vacation really put me behind. We finally got our tree last week and got it all decorated last weekend. I got the inside of the house finished too and decorated but I still haven't finished the outside. All we normally do outside is wreaths on the windows but my suction cups broke and home depot is out so they still aren't up! UGH! Oh well. Here are some of the pics from our Christmas card this year. I absolutly love getting the mail this time of year! Everyone puts so much time and effort into their cards and I just love getting them. Our kitchen is full of great friends...it's so nice to see all of your beautiful smiling faces every day!
Thank you to Kelli Alfreds for our Christmas card photo session. You did a great job with Ally and we had a great time. Hope everyone is having a great Holiday season.

The Big Apple...
The week after Thanksgiving TJ, my Mom, Jeff, and I headed to New York City for a big city Christmas Vacation. We had a great time but were so ready to come home after a long week of sightseeing. We got to see some amazing things. It really got me in the Christmas spirit and decorating the house when I got back was even more exciting. Here are some pictures from our trip. Hope everyone is having a great Holiday season!
Rockafeller Center
The Tree at Rockafeller Center
Skating Rink...we had lunch at that cafe you see. It was great.
There were skaters skating while we ate...very cool.
We never made it up early enough to get on the Today show but we did do the NBC tour.
Rockafeller Center...I think this building, the main building is called the GE Building. I really don't know though. That's sad isn't it...
Amazing view from the Top of the Rock
TJ, Me, Mom, and Jeff
We walked all day along 5th Avenue
St. Patricks Cathedral
Times Square
Times Square
The Bull near Wall Street
The New York Stock Exchange
Mom and I had a great time in Tiffany's...what a fun Christmas!
The tragic yet facinating site of Ground Zero

I wish I could say this was our hotel, The Plaza...but that would be a lie. It was beautiful but our home away from home was the Hampton Inn Madison Square Garden. It was great and all we needed!

Weekend with Sisters on the Plains!
WAR EAGLE!!! Last Saturday I got the pleasure of spending all day with some of my favorite Sorority Sisters! It's so rare that we get to see each other so I really love when football season comes around. It's the one place where we can all meet up and catch up. Boles came for the weekend and so did her BFF from high school, Laura. We had a great time cheering on our tigers even though we were surrounded by Georgia fans high in the upper deck. We didn't mind one bit considering Boles got the tickets for us for FREE!!! We hung out a great tailgate that was put on by our SS Casey's Boyfriends family. He had this big truck with a trailor that was actually a big grill. It was crazy...this thing had a cooler, grill, satalite, etc all in one! The news even interviewed him while we were tailgating. It was pretty awesome. All of us girls then walked to the paid tents where my company, Blairs company and some others had spots. It was a pretty cool set up and we may even do it next year as a pledge class. When you buy a spot they actually give you a drop off hour, get the stuff out of your car, set it up, and even watch it all for you while your in the game. It's great! If you pay a bit extra they will even set up a flat screen and satalite so you can watch other games before or after the AU game. Very cool! Well I'll quit rambling...here are some pics of the weekend. Thank you Boles for a great time!!!
